The monthly meeting of the Centre Township Board of Supervisors was held on April 28, 2020 at the Centre Township Municipal Building, 449 Bucks Hill Road, Mohrsville, PA. Chairman Jason Troutman called the meeting to order at 7:03 P.M. and led the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a Moment of Silence. The following were present: Chairman Jason Troutman, Vice Chairman Charles Zimmerman, Member James Fitterling, Attorney Liz Magovern, and Secretary Cheryl Haus. Due to the Governor mandates due to the coronavirus, no public was in attendance. The meeting agenda was posted on the Township’s website and doors so the public could review it. The public was advised that they could submit any comments on agenda or non-agenda items to the Township via e-mail up to the time of the meeting. The Township received no public comments.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Charles Zimmerman to approve the minutes from March 24, 2020. Seconded by Jason Troutman. Upon roll call, Zimmerman and Troutman voted yes.
PAYMENT OF BILLS
A motion was made by Charles Zimmerman to approve payment of the bills. Seconded by Jason Troutman. Upon roll call, Troutman and Zimmerman voted yes.
ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS / SOLICITORS REPORT – ELIZABETH MAGOVERN –
A motion was made by Charles Zimmerman and seconded by Jason Troutman to accept the property of Robert & Cindy Batdorf at 655 Bagenstose Road (partially in Penn Township), into the Ag Security Area. Upon roll call, Zimmerman and Troutman voted yes.
A motion was made by Jason Troutman, seconded by Charles Zimmerman to approve the Land Development Improvements Agreements and the Stormwater Operation and Maintenance Agreements for David & Rosene Good Poultry Plan. Upon roll call, Troutman and Zimmerman voted yes.
A motion for Resolution 2020-10 was made by Jason Troutman and seconded by Charles Zimmerman to extend the flat rate of the 2020 county & township real estate taxes until September 30, 2020, to mirror Berks County, with no late penalty fee. Upon roll call, Troutman and Zimmerman voted yes.
The Road Department trimmed trees, worked on signs, street sweeping, etc.
A motion was made by Jason Troutman and seconded by Charles Zimmerman to award the 2020 Road Project of tar and chip various township roads, to Martin Paving in the amount of $213,689.20. Upon roll call, Troutman and Zimmerman voted yes.
ENGINEER’S REPORT – RYAN RHODE –was received. No action items
ZONING OFFICER REPORT – Jeff Fiant – was received. No action items
SEO REPORT – No SEO work during April.
